A recent example of a tailor-made organized transport plan we undertook for project logistics is the combining of sea and road transportation for our client’s Liebherr LTM self-propelled Crane 1500-8.1 of a total weight of 500 tonnes and its accessories.

The operation included the sea transportation of the main body of the crane from Zeebrugge to Piraeus, and normal cargo road transportation by tautliner trucks for its accessories, along with special OOG cargo road transportation using semi and low bed trailers from Rotterdam to our client’s premises in Greece.

Needless to say, planning and execution of transportation procedures are intertwined with HSE standards implementation at all times!
